A New way to get Battleground Marks!

Need battleground marks but don't have the time to get them? Well here's a new way to get them for half the time! Ok, lets say I need Eye of the Storm marks, what I'll do is sign up for a random battleground instead of first available. This way I don't have to come into a battleground and stay the whole duration. You might even come into a winning battleground! Z and I have figured out that you can come into a winning battleground a lot more often in the afternoon than the morning so thats a good time to do this :). Don't forget the number you signed up for, if you get called for a different number that means the one you signed up for has ended. If this happens it will automatically sign you up for another battleground (the same type battleground you signed up for), but there is a big chance it will be a battleground that has not even started yet or has just started. I have been called to half started ones even though it was not the battleground number I signed up for, really its your choice whether to go in or not :). Remember, this strategy is only good at getting battleground marks, its really bad for getting honor. I hope you like this, it has worked very well for other guild members, they have complimented a lot, thank you :). Good luck!

Blizzard Devs interviewed by 1UP

Just as a headsup I heard on the 1UP WoW Podcast that their upcoming Games for Windows magazine will feature a 10+ page interview w/ some Blizzard Devs. In this interview they've figured out that:

Guild Banks are coming
Built-in VOIP (Ventrillo) to WoW

We'll see more soon I'm sure but figured I'd put this out there.

Sunken Temple Gang(stas)

Sunken Temple PartyWe all lined up for a pose before our big fight with Eranikus, a level 55-ish elite dragon in the Sunken Temple.

Luckily for the rest of us, Wart locked Eranikus down in place while we did as much damage as possible, with Penutty healing like mad.

Great job, team. :)

Should you lose experience when you die?, revisited - WOW Insider

Having come at this question from the other side of the fence, I would absolutely dislike a change to the way WoW handles the die/rez mechanic.

In Lineage (1 and 2), dying meant that you lost experience, and unlike Vanguard (described below), you could actually de-level.  I'll comment more after the block quote.

I just saw this guy in WoW on our server....

I saw this guy running around...

My new job as Doodie's Minion

Lately I've been picking up a little cash as Doodiehead's minion. The pay isn't great, but I get dental.

Even more cool Armory tools

The Armory hasn't been available long and already people are taking full advantage of it.

Check out the excellent information you can pull from that site!

I already know I'm the only character over level 30 that has Jewelcrafting as a profession. It also allows you to sort by skill level for each profession so you can find out who can make you those lovely high slot bags. :D

Take a look around!

Ventrilo

I set up a Ventrilo server for us today!

What's a Ventrilo server? It's a server that will allow us to all speak to one another while we play WoW! The benefit of speaking to each other while we play is pretty clear, but one of the other benefits is the social aspect of it.

The free version of the server only allows for 8 concurrent connections, so it's somewhat limited, but if we need more space, we can work that out later. I invite all of you to connect to the server and offer up any tech support you may need. It's password protected, and you'll need the specifics of how to connect to it, but rather than post that information here, I prefer that you contact me in-game :)
