Having come at this question from the other side of the fence, I would absolutely dislike a change to the way WoW handles the die/rez mechanic.

In Lineage (1 and 2), dying meant that you lost experience, and unlike Vanguard (described below), you could actually de-level.  I'll comment more after the block quote.

Tobold has found a strange little ingame scam that high level alchemists might fall into if they're not careful. Before the expansion came out, the recipe for Flask of Distilled Wisdom was an extremely rare drop from the last boss of Live Strat. Because it was so rare, the recipe could sell for hundreds of gold on the AH. Tobold thought he was getting one for a bargain at 150g, until he actually tried to learn it.

Turns out he got the Recipe: Flask of Distilled Wisdom instead, which is exactly the same thing (produces exactly the same potion), but is available for a mere 4 gold from the Cenarion Expedition quartermaster in Zangarmarsh. The only catch is that while both are BoE (which means they can both be sold on the AH), the Cenarion version requires that you be exalted with the Expedition to learn it. Which isn't super hard, but the fact is that players who are exalted can buy this recipe for 4g, and sell it on the AH to unsuspecting alchemists for hundreds of gold.

Well, it's not really a scam, per se.  The market just hasn't yet adjusted.  I'm confident that it won't take long for the price to come down.

Whoops. I forgot to set access rights on the Events content so that everyone could schedule meetings. All fixed now.

To create a new event, click on the "Create content" link in the site's menu.

Today I was hopping around between my characters, and it came to me that none of them really felt like me. I certainly enjoy my Paladin; however, it doesn't have the 'umphf' for which I yearn. That, coupled with the fact that I'm quite tired of dealing with the Intellect stat, has left me with my choices of Warrior and Rogue.

With those 2 choices in mind, I once again looked at my character list. I've got a 38 Dwarf Rogue, 36 Dwarf Warrior, and a newly leveled 21 Draenei Warrior. At this point, I'm leaning to the Warrior, as it feels so... well... 'manly'. With 'manly' as the adjective, I think I'll go with the Draenei. The only issue I have is the 36 Dwarf just sitting there. So, I'm left still contemplating....

I added a lot of themes to the site, and several of them weren't compatible, so I've cleaned them up and gotten rid of the ones that weren't being used or looked like butt.
