Monkey Shines

I've moved the body of this post into the "Read More" section of this post, as I discuss a REALLY fun quest that you may want to experience for yourself w/o me spoiling it for you.

In the Outlands, there's a strange quest you have to complete that requires you to post at least five poles down on the ground and stand in the resulting beams of energy.

The catch is that the area is (of course) filled w/ monsters, the poles can't be within a specific distance of one another, and that they only last a few minutes.

It took a little bit of creative mob-avoidance and a good deal of outright killing to get this done, but it was well worth it.

TBC Instances!

Hey all, now that I've got all my characters back in Monkey Shines, I'd like to offer up either of my 2 60+ t00ns for help and support in some of The Burning Crusade instances.

After talking with Doodie, it sounds like there is some clamoring about getting our hands dirty with some new instance content. I've done just about all of the instances at least once, and the earlier ones quite a few times. I'd be happy to help out in healing or tanking, which ever we need more.

The best times for me currently will be Tuesday and Thursday nights, and shortly I'll be able to do Saturday and Sunday runs. (My basement is fast nearing completion!)

Let me know if anyone else is interested! It looks like the players we have 58+ will make up some interesting groups!

First:  a disclaimer.  I haven't logged into Pragma for a while, so it took 30 days to build up this much spam.

I'm somewhat torn on this issue.  I can appreciate people wanting the option to buy gold, and selling gold has it's own appeal, too.  What I object to is the in-game mail spam. 

I don't mind whispers -- those are easily ignored.  I don't have to do anything for them to go away, and they don't inconvenience me.

In-game mail irritates me because I have to open the mail, then click delete.  For a small number of messages, it's not that big a deal.  When you get to a full screen of them, it gets my panties in a bunch.  I use the CT mass mail mod, which will automatically open, detach and delete mail attachments, but I'm not sure if it works on just letters.

I am currently a Fire mage (Zorlocky), I am planning to max him at 70. However, sometimes I would like to play an alt instead of Z.

I am thinking of making a Paladin, I would like this Paladin mostly for tanking purposes with some fun things on the side. I hear they are fun on PVP, this true?

Deep in the Sunken Temple, there's no-one to interrupt your napping.

There was a constant line of these bog lords and fungal giants walking around in Zangarmarsh, so I positioned myself at their destination and just picked them off, one and two at a time.

In this shot, I was actually standing over by the mushroom that's about on my two o'clock, but you couldn't quite make out just how many of them i'd killed, so I moved over here for the screenshot :D

This orc was in the company of a bunch of quest guys I was hunting. He was friendly and had very little to say, but I haven't been able to find a quest involving this guy.

A couple of the Outlands quests turn you into alternate forms so that you can talk to other npcs. Good stuff!
