I'm finally vindicated!!!!

Preface: http://www.wowinsider.com/2008/02/27/ptr-notes-shaman-buffs-life-tap-cha...

After reading that, I'm vindicated. Here's why:

Every single Enhancement shaman makes fun of me for NOT putting windfury on both of my weapons. Then they make fun for me having such a fast off hand. Its true, having two slow 1h weapons with windfury blows my DPS out of the water in most cases.

However, I lose the ability to diversify against different targets. I use Rockbiter against soft targets, as it increases melee DPS. Frostbrand when defending or stopping runners, proc to slow movement by 50%. Flametongue against high AC classes as its damage is magical. Sure, I don't put out as much DPS in the form of a burst, but I feel like it allows for better control over my opponents.

I've always run with 'off-specs', I've always worn them as badges, too. I hate having to defend that against every person that spends too much time theorycrafting on Elitist Jerks. I basically just tell people that I know they are 1337 with thier DPS. I then return the most flags in WSG, or defend the most nodes in AB.

In terms of a faster vs. slower weapon (with out enchants or other improvements); I'd still prefer the faster one in my off hand simply because it has a higher chance to knock back spell casting. Sure, the slower one crits a ton higher, but how much does that help me when I'm CC'd or the target gets off a ton of heals?

So, how am I vindicated? Flametongue weapon will now add a stacking healing debuff on its targets. That means, I get a Mortal Strike / Aimed Shot / Wound Poison ability!!! Since it's a proc, the faster the weapon, the more chance I have to apply the affect.

Of course, this is only on the test realm....

Gotta catch'em all

For those that know how I play, this is second news. For those that don't, sorry in advance....

I think I've finally found out what I need to do in this game: level every class to max. Here is my rationale.

I'm a grass is greener player. I love pvp; and lately, its become an addiction. It seems that no matter which class I take into a BG or world pvp, I wish I had another race/class at (or above) the level I'm currently pvp'ing with.

Luckily for me, I've always leveled alts to build blue state on my mains. So, I've currently got:

70 pally, 70 druid, 49 mage, 45 lock, 43 shammy, 40 rogue, 35 warrior, 23 hunter, and some newb priest.

You'll probably see me bouncing between classes to run out their blue state. Hopefully this will sate my desire to have something different.

I don't know what to think of this, however. On one hand, it makes me think that there is not one class that is "perfect" for me; on the other it makes me feel like there is such a good balance between the classes.

Eh.... today is the warrior, tomorrow will probably be the warlock.

Pick your need

Well.... If anybody needs the 2 of the main ingredients for a quest or instance group, I'm a one-stop shop!

Paladin is 70 Protection spec (Tank)
Druid is 70 Restoration spec (Healer)

Stats are in my siggy!

Considering a change

Today I was hopping around between my characters, and it came to me that none of them really felt like me. I certainly enjoy my Paladin; however, it doesn't have the 'umphf' for which I yearn. That, coupled with the fact that I'm quite tired of dealing with the Intellect stat, has left me with my choices of Warrior and Rogue.

With those 2 choices in mind, I once again looked at my character list. I've got a 38 Dwarf Rogue, 36 Dwarf Warrior, and a newly leveled 21 Draenei Warrior. At this point, I'm leaning to the Warrior, as it feels so... well... 'manly'. With 'manly' as the adjective, I think I'll go with the Draenei. The only issue I have is the 36 Dwarf just sitting there. So, I'm left still contemplating....

Older Screen Shots

So, I finally pulled together my screen shots from all of my machines. I found quite a few personal gems that make me chuckle everytime I look at them. I thought I would share with the group:

(Both will open a new window if you click them)

ShimmeringFlats.jpgThis first shot was probably the oldest one I could find. Its me, level 38, exploring Kalimdor. This was the first zone that really popped out at me, due to the texturing and the reflective surface of the salt flats....

My_Buddies.jpgThis next shot was an early one I took of my Warlock, running through Elwynn Forest with his two buddies...

I need to preface these next few: Pragma and I had this thing where we would break into dance if we were ever in a waiting pattern, or just bored.
